These gorgeous, spa-like formulas arrive in bottles that “are made from 100% infinitely recyclable BPA free aluminium” with their labels made from wood pulp. Although highly conscious packaging, they still look very luxury and high end – perfect for a gift set!
Now, I wash my hair maybe twice a week. Three times if I mess up my hair washing schedule with an event or a particularly sweaty workout (amiright?) So based on this, 250ml in each bottle and only needing about 5ml for each wash because of the amazing lather, one set of bottles will last me around 3-4 months! That’s not only good for the environment but good for my pocket.
But does it work? Or does it just smell good?
Let me tell you. As someone with long, thick, bleached hair…this stuff WORKS. The volume! The moisture! The shine!!! Everything I could possibly want from a shampoo and conditioner is there. And all without the eco guilt attached.
The ONLY downside to these are that the bottles are rigid so there is no squeezing possible when trying to retrieve your product, and that may make it slightly more difficult when it comes to getting those last precious drops at the bottom of the bottles but I’ve already overcome this with a simple screw on pump top for each.
*Update!* Nereus London got in touch after this review to kindly send me two more bottles WITH PUMP TOPS!!! They're made of metal and completely fit the aesthetic of Nereus London and a spa like experience. They get right to the bottom of the bottle so you can get every last drop and of course, reuse them for your next bottles! So happy for this change and happy to see a company that listens to its customers feedback!
